Hello... I know...I know it's been a while. I am finding it so hard to stay updated lately. I'm trying though. It's been pretty crazy around here.
The kids finished school last week and are now on summer break. We've been spending alot of time in the yard swimming and just enjoying the outdoors.
We also been doing some talking about selling our Comic Book Store. We've had the store now for 12 years and it's been fun but it's time for a change. Alan has someone who seems to be interested and has come to look at the store. We will know more by the end of the week hopefully so I will let you know what happens.
I also posted some pictures in the photo Album from our ladies night out for Aunt MaryAnn and my cousin Colleen's birthday. We had a great time as always. I also decided to make my cousin Ronnie a Birthday card and brought it along for everyone to sign since his birthday is on July 2nd! If you have a chance just pop over to his support page and send him a Happy Birthday!! Oh and Ronnie if you're reading this keep and eye out for your card ... hopefully you will have it soon!!
Well that's about all for now. Talk to you soon!!

Sorry I haven't written. I just haven't had the time the past week. The kids are almost done with school...just a few more days and that's it. They have had a crazy schedule the last week. David has only been going to school for finals for 1 subject a day for an hour and a half so he's out of school by 9:40 am every day since last Wednesday. Today he is off because of graduation for the 8th graders and then goes back for another 2 more days of finals. Brittany has another couple of days left and is finished on Thursday. I have also been spending alot of time outdoors. The kids have really been enjoying the pool and the yard.
Father's day was good. I had my family over for dinner. My mom made chicken Parmigiana and brought it with her and I did the pasta and garlic bread. We ate outside on the patio. It was nice. We just didn't feel like barbequing again. My dad brought the dogs with him (Lady and Daisy). They enjoyed running around the yard.
Yesterday I caught up on some cleaning mostly mopping and doing my screens and windows in my kitchen. There so crystal clean now! I tell ya the little things excite me! LOL.
This week Ashley (my godchild) graduates from elementary school. I am hoping I will be able to make it to her graduation ceremony on Thursday but it is my daughter Brittany's last day of school and the hours are around the same time.
Friday I am going out with my mom, sisters, aunts and cousins to celebrate my Aunt MaryAnn and cousin Colleen's Birthday's. We always have such a nice time when we go out. Were going to some Italian place my mom said was good.
Today, Alan is off from the store so he will be home doing some yard work getting rid of some wild growing trees that are growing to close to the fence. I am going out with my mom in just a little while to go and get a manicure and a pedicure. I haven't had one done in a while. I think I will do my usual french on my fingers and toes. My sister is also coming over later and were going to our weight watchers meeting. I think I just maintained this week so I will see.
Well got to run and get myself ready...mom will be here soon!!

I heard from my mom again. They were on there way to MGM or Epcot to see some more of the parks. Hopefully the weather will hold out with the tropical storm Arlene causing some wind and rain.
The rest of the day was pretty uneventful. The kids came home from school and the girls friend from next door came over to swim. Afterwards, I took the kids out to dinner at Friendly's since Alan was working late at the store tonight. We had a nice time. When we got back David decided to take a dip in the pool and the girls went next door and played for a bit. Now everyone's off to their rooms to go to bed. I think I'll get into bed early myself tonight. I have some rugs to steam in the morning. Oh... the fun just never ends... I'm trying to get the house spic and span clean since Alan is having his friends over on Sunday night for some Pay-Per-View westling event that's on that they'll all watch on the big screen. He's barbecuing for everyone too. Should be fun.
Have a great weekend!! Hugs!!

My Mom called from Florida and is having a great time with her family. So far they went to Dinsey World, MGM, and Epcot. She is coming home on Saturday night.
Ronnie sent some more pictures from Iraq so when you get a chance check them out I have a link in his photo album page or just click on -->View Ron's Pics!
The kids have been enjoying the pool the past few days since it's been 95 degrees and hot and humid. I posted some pictures below.
The weather is much better today not as hot only getting to 85 degrees today! That's pretty good to me.
Well I'm going to run and do some housework before the kids come home from school. Have a great day everyone!! Hugs!!

Alan is working today, he did leave me some movies that he picked up yesterday so I am sitting in bed watching them. He got the new Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Monster-In-Law, A Lot like Love, The Longest Yard and Madagascar. The kids really liked Madagascar alot. The copies are mint. Sure beats paying 10.75 per person plus food and drinks. It cost $100 just to take the family to one movie. Plus it's keeping my busy.
I also got this giftie from Antonia today...THANK YOU SO MUCH ANTONIA!! Keeping me motivated!!

Just talked to my mom and found out my sister Lisa who was sick last week with what I guess was the same cold my mom had all week is worse now. She works in a law office and had to leave work yesterday because of the pressure in her ear. She was in pain and went right to the doctor. The thing with Lisa is she is allergic to most antibiotics -- she gets a bad reaction to them. The doctor was able to prescribe something which wasn't easy to figure out. She also may have ruptured her eardrum, my mom said she was bleeding a little from her ear. God I can't imagine how much that must hurt. I hope she is feeling better soon.
Today I had to run back to the pool store to get a few more accessories, hose, ladder mat, etc. Hopefully the kids can get in the pool this weekend. The water is too chilly for me it's only 70-72 degrees. I'll wait till the solar cover does it's job.
I am actually all by myself on a Friday after school. The girls went next store to play with there girlfriend and David went to his friends house to work on a science project. Let me tell you this rarely happens.
Well I'm going to run and enjoy the last few minutes of peace I have before the crew comes home.

The past day and a half I was having trouble all of a sudden uploading from blogger to my server. So if you were trying to get in and read my journal it came up a white blank page. I think it was a server issue. But it's all working now. Finally!!
Today is pretty quiet. Mom just called and asked me and Kaylee to lunch so I will be heading out in a little while. Mom looked alot better and is feeling better than she was.

I went for my doctor's appointment this morning for my physical and results of my MRI an bloodwork. My MRI was just fine...sigh of relief. My bloodwork was pretty good my cholesterol is a tad on the high side but nothing to be worried about. That runs in the family. The only other thing was my B-12 it was extremely low. The doctor gave me a B-12 shot and told me to start taking some B-12 supplements even though they are in my multi-vitamin they just aren't enough. I have to go back in 2 weeks for another B-12 shot. As far as my headaches are concerned, the relapax is working for me. The doctor thinks that they could be from stress. Gee...what stress?? I am happy though.
Later today I have to run and pick up the kids and drop off my niece. My mom was going to do that but she has had a nasty cold all week and has been in bed. She hasn't been sick like this in a long time. I hope she is feeling better soon. She is leaving to go to Florida in a few days. I guess it was better to get sick this week rather than next week when she would of been away.
I also posted some more pictures that I received this morning of Ronnie and 465th in Iraq which he is a part of. He has been traveling now with part of the Operation Lightening. It is interesting to see the pictures of where he has been on the other side of the world. It is hard to imagine the danger his life is in everyday. We all miss him and can't wait till September when he is supposed to get some time off to come home. What a party we shall have!! Thanks for the messages you all have been writing to him. It means alot to him and his family!!
Got to run...I think I just burnt my hotdogs...Oh well... Hugs!!
