Well it's been a hell of a week. Just so much going on family wise and I wonder why I get so stressed out. We've been dealing with my sister who is a single mom who has been living with my parents with her daughter since she was born. Well she decided to move out in a huff all because of my parents getting upset that my sister feels the need to go out during the week at 11:00 at night and not come home till it's time for her daughter to go to school. What the heck. I mean how many of you mom's do that? Now please don't think that this is the first time she has done this. She used to go out in the past and say she was going out for a few hours and then not call at all and then not show up till the next morning. My parents have had it. It is so unfair. My parents have done so much for my sister and she treats them like cr*p. I am so angry at her. Also she left in the middle of the night and when she did she came running to my house dropped off her daughter who was very upset at the time and still went out. Who would leave their child after just up and moving out in the middle of the night knowing their child is visably upset just so she could go and do god knows what at that hour of the night. How selfish is that. She didn't even come home till 7:45 am. and had to have her daughter in school by 8:10 am. and the school is 10 miles away. She ended up getting to school late anyways. What kind of thinking is this? I cannot make heads or tails of it. My parents are so devestated by all of this. I have never seen my mom and dad so upset! Uggh my sister makes me so mad!! There is also so much more to this story but forget it....it would take pages and pages to even tell it. I hope she gets her head screwed on straight and realizes how much she just hurt the people around her. Sorry to vent... I just had to get some of this out.

Ronnie also has left and gone back to Iraq. Wow that was a quick 2 weeks. He was so glad to come home and be with his family. It was great seeing him!! Also, My uncle is still in the hospital and is doing about the same. It's a fast growing tumor so we just don't know.

Also, I did do well my first week on Weight Watchers. I lost 3.6 lbs. I am happy about that! I am also enjoying Curves. I am going 3x a week. I also want to start using my Leslie Sansone Walking DVD's again.

Well guess that's about all....trust me it's enough!! Hope you are all having a better week!!

Hugs!!

Hello.

Not too much going on today. It's pretty quiet. Unusual for me. I just got back from signing up at Curves again. I really enjoyed going a couple of years ago and I decided I needed to go and do something for myself. It's only 30 minutes 3x a week so I think I can handle that. I also started going back to Weight Watchers too.

Well I have to go and get Kaylee ready since she has to be in school in 1/2 hour. I am also meeting my sister Michelle so we can walk around the mall for a little while.

Talk to you later!
Hugs!!

Well blogging has sure gotten away from me lately. I just have had not much time for myself since school started. We're reading, doing homework and projects for school and now it's for all three of them. David carries so many books in 7th grade his backpack weighs about 50 lbs.

Well the weekend was very nice. We had the party for Ronnie on Saturday. It was a hit. We all had such a great time and it was great that we were all able to get together to see him. I have some pictures I took. >>Click Here<<

On Sunday, we had an unveiling of the tombstone for Alan's uncle who passed away last year. It was done so nicely. I can't believe that a year has come and gone so quickly. After the cemetery, we went back to Alan's Aunt's house to have lunch. It was nice seeing everyone again. We don't get to see Alan's family as much. His side of the family is alot smaller than mine. There are so many aunts and uncles and many, many cousins. I believe ones I haven't even met. It's nice though having a big family. We are always there for each other and I love that.

Monday, I got the kids off to school and then had to run with my mom to the church to sign David and Brittany up for religious education. David is in the 7th grade so he will be making his confirmation this May and Brittany is in 1st grade so this is her first time going to school. They don't start till October though.

Yesterday, Alan was off from the store so after we got the kids off to school, Alan me and my sister Michelle went out to breakfast at IHOP. Then we had some time before having to go and start picking everyone up from school, so we went to Best Buy to look around. Alan wanted to get the Lost boxset from season 1 and Michelle wanted to look at vacuums. She ended up finding one that she liked. Later on when we got home, Alan and David went out and played basketball and football at the park. When the got home I ran out to Weight Watchers to weigh in and then ran and did some foodshopping at Waldbaums.

Today, I hope it will be quiet and hopefully I can get some cleaning done. Can't believe tomorrow is the fist day of fall.
Hope everyone has a geat day!! HUGS!!

Yay!! It's Friday!! What a week and today it is raining and muggy out.

Got up today and took David to school and then Brittany. I had to run to the DMV to renew the registration on the Honda. I was surprised that it was very empty in there. Usually it quite busy. Maybe because of the weather. Then I ran to Kohl's to look around...didn't find too much except a couple of fall runners for the tables. Then it was off to Waldbaums supermarket to get all the ingredients for the pan of ziti I am making for tomorrows party for Ronnie. I am also making I guess 3 or 4 pans of brownines since there are alot of people coming tomorrow. I sure hope the weather is nice for tomorrow and that the rain blows out early in the morning thanks to hurricane Ophelia.

Now I have to go and get Kaylee ready for school since she has to be there at 12:45 p.m. Afterwards, I want to go to the nail salon and get a manicure. Hopefully by the time I am done there, it will be time to go and pick up the kids from school. Then I'll just come home and start cooking and baking so I am not up all night doing it.

Have a great weekend!!Hugs!!

Hello! I know, I know....it's been a few days. It's just been super hectic around here this week.

First we were so glad to welcome home my cousin Ronnie for his two week leave from Iraq. We greeted him at the airport on Saturday, September 11, 2005. What a day to come home huh! Check out the video >HERE< . Anyways it was good to see him and he looked great. The whole family is getting together on Saturday for a huge party so everyone can see him while he's home.

I would also apprecaiate if you could please keep my uncle Russ in your prayers. He is the one I told you about that has the brain tumor. We had a bit of a scare on Tuesday night and I had to run and pick up my mom and get to Long Island Jewish hospital because he ended up thowing a massive clot to his lung. My aunt was very upset and was also asked to sign DNR papers. We went up to lend our support in any way we could. As it turns out, he had a greenfield filter put in to help stop any further clots. He is in ICU now and that's all I know.

Let's see what else...Oh Kaylee was bitten twice in the arm by a bee the day we went to my cousin Kathy's to see Ronnie. Poor thing her arm swelled so bad by late that evening and then some more the next day. But thankfully, she is doing much better and most of the swelling is gone now.

Alan and I have been busy in the yard. We lost a little bit of grass this year, I guess because of the extreme heat. So we had to turn some of the soil in the front and reseed. Good Morning on this wonderful Friday morning.

Got some pictures from my sister Lisa from their trip to Florida's Discovery Cove with my son David and my niece Ashley. The one with the dolphin is my favorite. I've got to get out and get a frame for that one!

School is going well for the kids. Everyone, including myself seems to be a little better getting used to the schedule change and getting up very early again.

We are all waiting and excited that Ronnie should be on his way home today from Iraq!! I wish it was for good. At least he will get to spend some time for 2 weeks with his family who miss him terribly. He will be leaving and traveling first to Kuwait, then Germany, then Altanta, and then Long Island's McAurthur Airport. He is due to arrive on Long Island either Sunday or Monday depending on the standby tickets that he is given from the airlines. It's a long trip. We all want to greet him at the airport when he arrives! Hopefully he comes in early so we can all do that. If he comes in the middle of the night it will be harder.

Brittany has the dentist tonight. It seems that a small cavity she had filled last year....her first one mind you the dentist didn't fill properly. Well last week we went to a new dentist to have her checkup and x-rays it seems the tooth still had the cavity in it. It seems that the other dentist didn't drill enough of the cavity out and then put a filling on top. Well now the poor thing needs a small root canal. I am so not happy about this. She has to be shot up with novicane and I know she isn't going to like it one bit. The dentist told me to sit in the chair and she will sit in my lap so I can help keep her calm and not move. I feel very comfortable with this dentist. She is very sweet and all here equipment is state of the art. She also just did 4 porcelain veneers on my husbands top front teeth earlier this week and they look great. He was thrilled to say the least. We are going today at 5:00 p.m. so hopefully she isn't in too much pain aftewards which is also why I did it on a Friday so that she had time to feel better and not miss any school.

Well got to start getting Kaylee ready for her kindergarden class at 12:45 so I will talk to you soon!!

Hugs!

Hello.

Sorry I haven't blogged in a few days. I've just been so busy and then by the time I had the time I was to exhausted to think straight. We had a busy weekend. David came home from Florida. He had a blast! Sunday, I did some cleaning and then some food shopping later in the day. Monday (Labor Day) I had a barbeque for Lisa and Kaylee's birthday's. It was a beautiful day! Here's a picture of the birthday girls!!

Yesterday was also the first day of school. It went great and the kids were all happy about starting school again. Kaylee has the same teacher that Brittany had last year and couldn't be happier. Brittany said she is very happy with her teacher this year too. David got his schedule and was glad to have someone he knows in his lunch period. He is excited to be taking French this year. He wasn't too thrilled about taking home economics since he has to cook and wear an apron. LOL. Here are there first day of school pictures I took.

Well that's about all. Hope you all are enjoying your week!

Hugs!

Hello Everyone... It's Friday again!! That means my son will be home tomorrow night. I really miss him!!

Yesterday was also my sister Lisa's Birthday she turned 33!! Lisa, David and Ashley are still having a blast in Florida. Yesterday, they went to Islands of Adventure another Universal theme park. David told me he got a tattoo of a dragon. He was trying to make me believe that it was a real one. Like I'd believe that. LOL. He said they had lots of fun on the water rides today and were soaked by the time they left.

Got some news on my uncle. It's not looking good. I was told that the tumor is malignant and inoperable. They are going to start him on steroids to try and shrink it to buy some time I guess. I feel so bad and wish there was something I could do. I just pray he does not suffer and that God gives him and his family the strength they need right now to get through this.

Other than that, I've just been watching the news. The stories I've seen are so sad. It's horrible what they are going through especially when only 2 hours away is food, electric and plumbing. I don't understand why they can't get truckloads of water and food to these people. They are just dying out there.

Then on Long Island at an amusement park called Adventureland they had two deaths this week. One was an 18 year old who was operating a kiddy coaster he fell onto the tracks and was run over....still trying to figure out how that happened. Then today a 45 year old woman was on a ride called Top Scan and was thrown out of her seat 20 feet into the air over a retaining wall into the adjacent parking lot onto a car....see picture below and imagine falling out of that!! Yikes... I've been to this park before and I just can't believe what happened. I surely will not be visiting for a while.

I also can't believe what I paid today for a tank of gas for my minivan. It was $75.60 for 21.6 gallons!! It was $3.50 a gallon. I better start learning how to walk when I can. I don't usually go too far but it really makes you not want to waste the gas you have at those prices. They are saying by the weekend we will be paying up to $4.00 a gallon. People are getting to gas stations only to find that regular gas is sold out and end up having to pay for premium gas at $4.59 a gallon. How nuts!!

Hugs!!
