First, today is my Mom's 61st Birthday. "Happy Birthday Mom!!"
Sure having a busy week so far. Kaylee's Communion is this coming Saturday, May 16th at 9am. We are having a small party at the Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip. We are having her rehersal tomorrow and tonight we have to finish her pew banner. I will post a picture when we finish. Also, I still have to order flowers and balloons and hopefully find something for myself to wear. Brittany has her spring concert Thursday. Then this week and I have one more meeting at school on Thursday to review Kaylee's progress. Just a lot of running around. On Saturday, the day of the Communion, we have to be up so early since the Communion is at 9am.
Tonight we are going out to Dominico's for my Mom's Birthday. My sister Michelle wasn't able to go with us on Sunday for Mother's Day because she had to work so she will be there tonight.
David is doing alot better and I think he is a lot happier being back at school after being home for the last 5 months on home schooling after being diagnosed with chron's disease. He has learned some of the things he can and cannot eat anymore or how much of something he can have before it affects him.
Mother's Day went very nice for me this year. With so many things that have been bringing me down lately it was nice to enjoy a day where I felt special....I just lost my 18 year old cat, having that bad fall and cracking my knee open and dealing with someone who doesn't know how to speak nicely to someone with out coming out as being nasty right off the bat. There are nicer ways to talk to someone and I feel there was no reason for being so nasty and I am not going to entertain them going back and forth. Oh well nuff said.
Anyways...Alan and the kids surprised me with a nice breakfast in bed...flowers...dinner out. It was truly an amazing day!
My Kenny Chesney tickets arrived today for the concert at Jones Beach on June 24th. Can't wait! I am going with my sister Lisa, her brother-in-law Ron and his wife Melissa. Alan is not a huge Kenny Fan but thinks he does put on an amazing show. My sister's husband Darren doesn't really like country at all.
I am happy too that we finally we can see the sun again after many days of clouds and rain. David went back to high school today after five months of being on home schooling. He got home today at 2:30pm and said things went pretty good. They still have to switch him into an astronomy class because he couldn't take earth science at home because of the labs.
My knee is feeling better after the fall I had 2 days ago. I still can't believe I fell and split my knee open like that. I probably could of used a few stiches but I really did not feel like going to the emergency room. I ended up putting a few butterflies on it and so far so good.
